What to Know About the Foreclosure Process

The foreclosure process is complicated, and the team at CaceLaw wants to ensure that you understand the basics of these procedures. Some of the fundamentals of the foreclosure process include:

Right to Cure Default Notice

Most Mortgage lenders are required to send a right to cure default notice sometimes referred to as a breach letter. This document informs the borrowers that their loan is in default and that foreclosure is imminent. These letters must include a date by which the borrower must remedy (pay) the default.

Notice of Foreclosure Sale

If the specified date passes without the default being cured, the lender must send the borrower a notice of foreclosure sale. This document will inform the borrower of the date, time, and location of the foreclosure sale. If this happens, contact CaceLaw immediately to have time to seek a restraining order if you are eligible for one.
